Brother, allocation in a particular group doesn't solely depend upon marks in written. There are different factors including number of seats, domicile of the candidate, marks in interview, preferences of the candidates in that particular year and suitability (Suitability clause is rarely applied). If someone is from Punjab, he might need to secure 700+ marks in written and 200+ in interview to secure PSP. More specifically, a male candidate's from Punjab needs to have overall score around 900 for possibility of getting PSP. If someone has 660 in written and 240 in interview, even then he may fall in PSP!
Competition in Sindh and Balochistan is not that tough as in Punjab. This year the topper of Balochistan was on merit 136 (Total marks 868) getting DMG and merit 190 (Total marks 848) got PSP.

Competition in KPK is also high. All the DMG and PSP seats were consumed upto merit # 88 in CSS 2011. Competition in CSS 2010 was even more tougher, because all DMG and PSP seats of KPK were cosumed upto merit # 18. It all depends upon how many candidates of KPK are at the top. If there are more number of candidates, seats are consumed at higher merit number and vice versa.

it all depends that how the rest of candidates have performed in the exams, there is no set score fro allocation to PSP, there are many variables like seats falling in the respective quota and performance of other candidates

Usman Khalid bhai has aptly answered the queries..There can be many factors other than marks like Number of seats in a quota region, number of candidates qualified from that region, their preferences etc, overall scoring trend...securing allocation in a particular group is a relative thing that depends on relatively to aforementioned factors but if you want to know it in absolute terms then let me make a rule of thumb here;

Secure 720+200 Marks and get the allocation of your choice, no matter which region you belong to...That's it...

P.S..You can get the allocation if your marks are below the said standard depending on these contingency factors..
