Main ne suna hai ASI appoint hone ke baad upper course kar sakte hain kyun ke ASI ki training ke doran intermediate course hojata hai kya ye sach hai ?

How many years of service required for ASI to get one step promotion & please tell me about salary and others benefits of Police Service please in details.

Actually according to police rules P/ASI should be promoted to SI after 3 years, only if seats are available for promotion. It will be decided by departmental promotion comity (DPC) that who is eligible and who is not.
Perks and privileges for ASI. 1) High pay compared with employees of grade 9 in other department. 2) Govt quarter for police families. 3) Police having great role in our society , therefor, ASI can play his prestigious role in maintenance of law and order in society.

my uncle was selected as asi through spsc in 2001 but still he is an asi .he told me that our promotion will take place in 2017 .means 15 years.......asi result kb aegi jo hmny abi di

1) In duty timing if any cognizable offence is committed you can arrest offender in your duty timing. 2) If an ASI is duty officer in police station then he have to write every complain from compliant and also to give information of minor as well as heinous crimes to his seniors. He has also to inquire different reports from complainants. 3) If he is an investigation officer then he has to deal with different nature of cases and to arrest criminals and challen them. 4) If he is on patrolling duty.He is in charge of his bit and also to make sure safety of Public. and a lot more police power changes with nature of his duty.
