Keep yourself up to date with all national and international level events almost 4 to 5 months before exams. also make your general knowledge well prepared and remember international organizations names and their details etc.

Keep any eye on the government matters as new government is in power and they are dealing with many matters as like terrorism,energy crisis,presidential election,Musharaf case,Chief Justice of Pakistan's retirement,COAS retirement,issues with India,Iran,Afghanistan,and with Muslim world.
