Word democracy is the combination of two greek words demos and cratos means rule of the peole,American presiden Abram Lincon articulately defined the term democracy"by the people,of the people and for the people. in simplest form democracy means a form of governence which is directly related or concerned with welfare of state and citizens of state the essence of this form is governmetn is-welfare state.
It ensures the disciplaned envoirnment which helps state organs to functions in right direction,it would be no exaggeration in saying the secreat of west succes lays behind the democracy.

Third world countries are lacking this form of government reasons behind are unnecesaary intervention of foreign powers,lack of freedom of expression,controlled media,dynestical politcs and millitary interventions,it will be no exaggeration the only panancea for the missries of third word countries is democracy .
