Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime.
"Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime" was coined by the famous Greek philosopher Aristotle. Tensions, tortures, tragedies and torments enter A HOUSE WHERE POVERTY DWELLS. Poverty shakes the FOUNDATION of survival and BEGETS rebellions and criminals who resort to street crimes, robberies, murders to fulfill the basic necessities of life. As Gandhi correctly pointed out, "Poverty is the worst form of violence." It is the root cause of many vices and has lead to a significant increase in crime. Gandhi said, "To a man with an empty stomach food is God." A poor man is forced to take a gun in his hands to provide his hunger stricken family with food, to marry an aging sister/daughter or for other basic necessities. Crime rate is drastically increasing each year in Pakistan while the corrupt politicians are making hay while the sun shines at the peril of the poor people. To curtail crime and rebellion, the government should take adequate measures to eradicate poverty by education. Nobody is born a criminal but it is the circumstances that lead him to commit such heinous crimes when his patience reaches a threshold. Numerous revolutions have occurred throughout the human history and it cannot be denied that most of them were the outcome of extreme poverty faced by the poor at the hands of the rich and those in power. French Revolution occurred as a result of extreme poverty and economic hardship due to which people could barely pay for a loaf of bread. Hence, they started breaking into stores, stealing and eventually lead to a revolution. Every man should be given equal rights and property as Prophet Mohammad PBUH did. It is incumbent upon the government as well as the civil society to help the poor. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU, IVE TRIED TO IMPROVE IT TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITIES |

Cut your coat according to your cloth.(2012)
Please Check this expansion and correct me if necessary. There are many people who always try to spend beyond their means. For one thing, they desire the fame, prestige, and comfort. On account of these inclinations, they explore different ways to earn more and more money no matter the way of these earning is legal or otherwise. Additionally, we are living in a society where so many extravagant Hindu rites and rituals have been adopted by the Muslims. The huge spending on traditional marriages is the case in point. Moreover, well-to-do people can easily afford these kinds of expenditure, but what about those people who can barely afford their sustenance. Sadly, they are still compelled to spend as much money on their daughter or near one’s marriages as others. Similarly, despite the fact that we are undergoing the miserable circumstances, many politician of our country are enjoying a luxurious lifestyle. Pakistan, at the moment, is under a big threat of around $ 60 billion debt, but in spite of these debts they are not ready to give up their extravagant lifestyle; and the concerned authorities are not ready to pay heed to these maladies. Not workable dignitaries’ visits, massive spending on dinners, huge spending on election campaign are obvious. Unequivocally, we are not cutting our coat according to our cloths. No wonder, one who does not care about the future often find him in a gloomy state of affairs. He virtually remains at the mercy of others. This proverb has a true message which applies on almost every one. It is a naturally phenomenon that man always try to get more and more, but remains unsatisfied. So, it is wise to cut our coat according to our cloth. |

Dear, these are good efforts. What I feel you have not arranged your thoughts in order. I find no coherence and unity. You had good examples and quotations you could have arranged them well. Avoid redundancy of ideas and vocabulary. You many sentences looked like that you had copied them from somewhere. Look at post of Nataasha, she has arranged it well. I would say you, present your thoughts with coherence and unity. Try to make simple sentences. Regards, |
