Dear, expansions are written in both ways. You can write expansion in one paragraph or more than one. It is up to you. If you think you can write much better within a single paragraph that is well and good. If not, go for 2nd option.

Rome was not built in a day

Appreciation which Rome is recieving for its well organized structure and magnificent view is not a result of one day effort.Hundreds and thousands of hands are involved behind the glorious Rome, who worked day and night to add in the emballishment of Rome. Thus billions and trillions of minutes and hours have been invested to get the destination of present Rome.
Take another best example of Prophet Mohammad(SAW), when he came out with a message of one God,people of the area had been following the wrong beliefs for centuries.Reason behind their idol worship was the blind obey of their forefathers. Our Holy prophet SAW)dedicated ,even the seconds of his life to accomplish the task assigned to him by Allah.Than a day came when he became successful in changing the barren minds into fertile beliefs of monothesim.
Today when muslims gathers around Ka'ba the spactators are forced to believe that here is a presence of powers working wits strong affiliation are of hardwork, courage, tolerance, permanent mindedness, and definitely patience.
Another factor is effort which is a hard task because it istime consuming. As after a long struggle Muslims of South Asia became able to get their own homeland on ideological basis. Once it was a dream ;turned into reality by the authentic and practical approach of realistic minds like AllamaIqbal and Quaid-e-azam with other Mualims.
Therefore,to live once, is not a gain. Achievement is to live life long in the memories of generations by inheriting them with brillant base, spirit to hardwork and far-sihtedness.
An undeniable reality is ,the thing which which is achieved by consuming every possible factor and effort is obviously long-lasting.So,becomes lesson of effort for others like Rome.

Where there is a will, there is a way:

Will refers to the strong determination and the firm wish to achieve something; usually noble and sublime. Nothing worthy can be accomplished without an unbending will. One who is bent on getting something; gets it finally, though it may require a life-long determination and drudgery. “The one who wills is the one who can”, says an anonymous proverb.

Life has never been a bed of roses for anyone. Tensions and troubles, sorrows and sufferings, pains and plights, and problems hail unheralded; and one requires an unconquerable courage, an unwavering will and an undaunted determination to tread the course of achieving something. History abounds in the examples of such men of courage and will whose will-power carved the way to success and heights of glory. The Wright Brothers, for an instance, faced the mockery, criticism and humiliation on the hands of people in their efforts to invent a flying machine. They didn’t lose hope and at last succeeded in realizing their dream. They had the will and they got the way; came out of all the troubles with success. Johann von Goethe says the same, “He who is firm in will, molds the world to himself.”

Almost all of the successful men, who have left deep marks on the world and its history, got it only on the basis of their will, hope and determination. When a person really wants to get at something, nothing can stop him. As Ella Wheeler Wilcox says, “There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can circumvent or hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul.”
