Older order changeth yielding place to new lest one good custom should corrupt the w
Tennysoon in this statement stresses the importance and necessity of change. Even a good system, not periodically subjected to change, can become a source of corruption in the long run. There is nothing permanent in the world; it is contrary to the laws of nature. For instance, Shelley expounded this theme in his poem Ode to the West wind; he says ‘O wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind? He gives message of change and hope. Winter is the season which brings miseries and hardships to living beings. The falling of leaves from the branches of trees present unpleasant and dismal view. The poor farmers are at the rest due to unemployment, as no major crops are cultivated in the winter due to extreme cold and snow. But nature is not so cruel and harsh as halcyon days will visit once again. The gloomy view of harsh season will be decimated by the blossom flagrant of spring. It yields happiness and bring charms on the faces of living beings. Similarly man- made rules and systems are indispensable to change. The constitution of state also subjected to change due to changing scenario at national as well as international level. The legislatures amend the constitution because it does not pacify the sentiments of masses. Similarly social system if allowed to prevail it would bring chaos and anarchy in the country. In Pakistan it is necessary to abolish feudalism to promote national cohesion. The feudalism evil system which only promotes vested interest of oligarchy at the cost of bourgeois class. Due to increasing wide disparities between rich and poor class, it is time to make certain laws and amendments in the constitution to curtail the wings of feudalism. If it allowed to prevail, it might bring disaster in the future. Hence it is high time to made social benefitting polices to bring social integration in the country.
