“SELF DONE IS WELL DONE”

Self-Reliance is the key to Perfection and Excellence. People who rely on their own to do any work are often the most successful in life. A glance at history tells us that all those whom made an impact and influenced the people around them, were always self-reliant.

The Resolve to do your own work by yourself does not come easy. Especially when you live in a society where there are always people around to help. One tends to depend too much on others, and that’s where the fault lies. It is a famous saying that “God helps those who help themselves”. Hence it is imperative that in order to achieve desired success, a person must depend on no one but himself. The World’s history is full of such successful persons who always preferred to do their own work by themselves. The biggest example is of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W), who did all his work by himself. Be it a daily chore or an important task, our Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) always preached self-reliance. Doing our own work by ourselves also inculcates the healthy characteristic of Self Respect in us. People also respect a man who is self-sufficient. From a personal perspective, it is not quite the same as getting your work done by someone else, as doing it yourself. The satisfaction that one gets when they complete an important task all by themselves is just an abstract feeling that cannot be comprehended. Those who do not follow this golden principle of being self-sufficient, are always left to rue the opportunities. Depending heavily upon others is a sign of those who are failures in life. A person who does all his work by himself is a confident and proud person. He does not have to bow to anyone for help. On the other hand those who rely upon others always end up in loss. In a student’s life , if he is dependent upon others to help him do the projects, he may never get good marks because the others cannot guarantee the same level of devotion for your work that they might have for their own. On the other hand, a student who relies on his own skills and hard work, more often than not gets the just reward for it. In workplace situations, those who rely heavily on their peers often are let down at crucial junctures in life. On the contrary those who do their job wholeheartedly and do not depend upon others are the ones who climb the ladder of success sooner rather than later. A self-reliant person is not only successful but also an inspiration for others while a person who is heavily dependent on others, sets his course of destiny towards regression.

Having Faith in our own abilities is one of the key factors in developing a successful and confident personality. The lessons from history, our daily life and also our ever progressing world suggest that the key to ultimate success is Self-reliance. Hence, self done is well done, is the mantra for absolute accomplishment.
