Man probes into space but not into himself.
Quotation under refrence draws attention of human beings toward third world countries. there is a verse in holly Quran refers that explore the secrets of universe. but at the other hand third world countries suffer hunger. West European countries like US probe into space and spend millions of dollars for the exploration and enhancement of space technology but do not take care about the poor countries. As far as technology is improving man is getting away from humanity even he do not take care of himself. One wise personality adds "Man has learnt to fly in the air but still he is unaware how to live like a human."

.
annexiously waiting for comments and then i will post second paragraph Inshallah.
Thanking in anticipation,
Faiz

The above quotation draws our attention toward third world countries. There is a verse in the holly Quran that goes like: "Explore the secrets of universe". But on the other hand third world countries suffer from hunger. The west (European countries like US[The USA is not in Europe]), the US in particular, probes into space and spends millions of dollars for the exploration and enhancement of space technology but does not care about the poor countries[ why would she?]. As technology is improving man is getting away from humanity. Even he does not take care of himself. One wise personality adds "Man has learnt to fly in the air but still he is unaware how to live like a human."

Rajasani has rightly said you need to broaden the sphere of your thoughts. Your expansion, apart from the quotations you've put, is not bad, but is tangentially related to the given topic. If I were to write on this topic, all I would do is do brain storming for five minutes or so, and write everything that comes to my mind. Looking at the topic, the very first thing that comes to one's mind is Baba Bulhay Sha's kalam:

"parh parh alim fazal hoyo
kade apne aap nu parhya yi nai

ja ja warhda mandar masita
kade man apne wich warya yi nai

iwe roz shetan nal larne
kade nafs apne nal larya yi nai

bulley shah asmani udthia pharne
jera kar bethe aunu pharya yi nai
"

And you can think of a host of other things as well.

Man probes into space but not into himself

The more time passes the more man goes away of self. He enters into materialistic world and space, and keeps away from spirituality and self. The self which is essence, but it is neglected. Man has discovered atom and stars but has never seen into himself. Self has supernatural secrets to tell, but man is busy with space. He discovers outer world but avoids inner mysteries .

All the Sufi, mystics and wise people said to know "self". They discovered the real quest. The great philosopher Socrates says, " Know thyself."Self tells all things. When one knows self, he knows the nature. However, man is looking at things in world and cosmos and doesn't peep into himself. Rumi Says, "Everything in the universe is within you. Ask all from yourself."

The great philosopher and universal poet Moulana Jalaldeen Rumi tried to find God on Cristian Cross; he went at Hindu temples and pagodas, he searched into cave Hira; he went into Kaba and Macca, he looked into vallies and mountains, but God was not into heights and depths. Then, he sought into himself into his heart, and God was present. As Baba Bulleh Shah says, "You run to enter your mosques and temples, but you never entered your own heart."

Man discovers photons but doesn't probe into himself. He tries to live on mars but doesn't want to see life of self. He tries to know where planet Pluto is gone but doesn't want to know where he is derailed. He discovers planets like super-earth but doesn't look for the fact. And, Indeed, man probes into space not into himself.Bulleh Shah says, "We have drowned in the river of Self."

Dear, you had a good attempt at explaining the quotation but you have narrowed down the scope of quotation entirely to the third world countries.. Infact the quotation says about probing into one's ownself not the external universe and poverty or hunger are not a hindrance between one and his inner universe.. and the the verse of the Holy Quran is about observing and exploring the external universe with acute eyes and to ponder over that external universe so that one could recognize the Power that created it..
As far as I think, man, in the pursuit of material gains and luxuries, has put behind the exploration of self.. Man's self is a much bigger universe than the outer one.. Knowing this, the great philosopher Socrates said, "know thyself", and similar words has been said by Hazrat Ali (A.S), "One who recognized oneself, recognized God".
The advancement in industry and technology created luxuries for man and gradually those luxuries and their pursue carried man away from his own-self and the attitude of society was a major reason which respected only those who are well-to-do and spending luxurious lives.. This attitude of society compelled every man to run blindly for physical luxuries thus man catered only for his physical body and the internal soul or mind was left to deteriorate..

@ Zuhaib Ahmed

Thumbs up dear.. Excellent..

nice attempt but don't u think quoting everybody who is suggesting man to look in himself sounds redundant if u wont tell why they all were saying this so....Whats meant by phenomena"looking inside of himself"? its actually means remember the Blessings of Allah+ getting into cosmos and core and inspire by the creations and marvels created by Him and again praising+ How high or Low one is in his life, Always know and remember his reality and MAKE,,,,,hope u got my point....

Man probes into space but not into himself.

Humanbeing has distinct glory of being supreme creature in the universe. He has been awarded with the superficial think power, the power of exploring the self and universe. Man focuses on exploring the space rather than self. The recognition of self makes human Supreme. As saying of Hazrat Ali (A.S), "One who recognized oneself, recognized Allah". Human has become strong enough to discover the realities of universe but not of self. Self recognition is the key secret of humanity, to recognize yourself as class, it actual creates the value of looking others equal on the humanity basis.

How you do makes a sense of recognizing the all human equal? when you look at yourself. As our Holy prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said in his last sermon that All humanbeing are equal, no one is superior than other, White has no superiority over Black, Black has no superiority over white, Arab has no superiority over Ajam and no any Ajam is superior than Arab, but the superiority is in piety/righteousness.

Man utilizes all energies and resources just exploring the outer world, he does not know where he goes actually,? Self recognition is the ultimate recognition of humanity. It is the result of the self anonymity that dragged man into deep darkness. Worlds 10% population holds more than 60% resources of the world and remaining are living the life of poverty, lawlessness, hunger, illiteracy and inequality. Indeed "Man probes into space not into himself", if human continues such behaviour, we will come to endless crises where we can assume point of no return.

Thanks, everyone's nature, ideas and love are different. "looking inside of himself"? I had cleared this, read the expansion again. I have quoted Rumi, Bulleh and Socrates so it doesn't make it redundant so far i know.
