can any1 elaborate the use of specially and especially or these terms are used inter-changeably??

According to the Oxford Dictionary, the words especially and specially are not interchangeable, although both can mean "particularly". Only especially means "in particular", as in He despised them all, especially Thomas, and only specially means "for a special purpose", as in The car was specially made for the occasion.

Asslamulaikum,

I agree to the Administrator.
1) Specially: The grammatical position of "Specially" is Adverb. It is used for a special purpose.
Ex: It is a specially commissioned report.

2) Especially: It is also an Adverb, it means in Particular, for a special purpose.
Ex: I Love all of them, especially Ali.
It also means to a great extent, very much:
Ex: He did not especially like playing.
