seniors, please evaluate. This is my first precis.

Title: Psychoses and Neuroses

Prècis:
Psychoses and neuroses are the psychological disorders characterised by inclination of behaviour towards an extreme, rendering ego completely partial. In psychoses, ego is shettered altogether as a result of conflict between the desired and unachievable goals. Consequently, one is compelled to become socially deviant. Whereas the severe mental disorders show a complete loss of self-control, only one of the mental processes overwhelms the others in less severe forms. Thus, man is prohibited from realising his potentialities. Here, culture plays little role since man is in conflict only with his self. Therefore, neuroses is a very strange behaviour which is, regardless of its sociological description, determined by imbalance in personality rather than cultural norms.

I think its a nice attempt. The title is a bit of a cliche so may be u need to be more creative with it in order to stand out. There's one spelling mistake where you have used 'shetterd'. Such a mistake can be suicidal in the exam. Other than that, its a really good attempt. Whats the word count by the way? Should be 1/3rd of the original!

Sorry for the spelling mistake. Yeah, I recognise my mistake. And really very thankful to you. Sincerely owe you. Well, word count is not exactly one third, it's just a few words above 1/3rd. Few words mean not more than 5 or 6 words. I think itni liberty to hoti hai. What say?
Thanks once again scorpio.

Haan itna tou chalta hee hai. No worries and btw theres a post started by another member where she attempted the last 10 years Precis. You might want to have a look (http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-compu...e-invited.html) because I think these are some excellent attempts. Also in the paper, do write the word count at the end. Just makes it easier for the examiner
