No, I have not previously attempted CSS and I am not going to attempt it for the first time either. I mean I am not sure when I am going to site into the exam. I am so into my degree. This is final year of my BBA and I tell you this is so inexplicable. And by the way again are you from Larkana?

Lack of practice is definitely the reason. I was writing my first CSS essay ever and it was in the examination hall....I encountered several problems with the outline, kept on changing the neat one till I finished writing the essay....I personally thought I went way off the topic for most part of the essay but Alhamdulillah passed the essay paper....grammar, expression, content, arguments do count.

My point is:these mistakes should be addressed before you walk into the examination hall.

I appeared in CSS-2009 so don't know the score yet but I am keeping my fingers crossed for something good

I wouldn't really call it a luck (prayers, yes) until I know I escaped narrowly but all I am saying is that one should not be disappointed if he/she is unable to follow all the strict guidelines that are normally suggested. I have seen people give up after essay paper thinking that they won't pass so there is no point in giving other papers but when results came out they passed essay. Yes, majority failed in essay in 2009 but if you know that your English is good then be confident. I was probably in despair coz I didn't seek any expert opinion on my wirting, style etc.

Don't be so tense about the essay. Just feel that you can do it and you will be able to perform. I never wrote an essay and got it checked by someone before the paper. Improve your vocabulary. This is my tip to everyone. But this is what people dont do bcoz they say it is really hectic to master some 3000 words. This is a golden rule for success in essay, precis, c.Affairs, Islamiat ( English) and interview. Do try this.

Did you really learned 3000 words? What was the source ,newspaper , any specific book or general reading ? Your method of memorizing new vocabulary?

Barron's World list contain more than 4000 words.

One can use mnemonics to remember them.

Yes newspaper is good , this is he best way to remember new words because most newspapers use the same vocabulary time and again.
