Default Frailty is thy name of women

THesis statement

Throughout the ages, women have been excluded from so much in life because of frailty myth constructed by misogynist mindset and practiced by patriarchal societies; now the time has come to explode this myth.

1. Why do women symbolize to frailty?

a.Biological differences and stereotype

-lack of muscular power for protection and earn the livelihood
- The man is physically and psychologically superior to the woman
(exposition in the light patriarchal and misogynist minds of the history such as of Aristotle, Charles Darwen, and Thomas Jefferson )

b.the social construction of women hood

-a conservative role of women as nurture and follower
-sign of pity and affection
-weaker and feeble sex with unequal subservient gender role
(one is not born rather become a woman, said by Simon de be beaviour)

c.patriarchal culture across the world

-man in ruler
-politics and economy untenably remains the purview of masculinity

2.how have women been suffering miserable subservient status because of this frailty myth.
a.subordination
b.discrimination
c.oppression

3. Is woman actually a weak sex?

a.history replete with stories of women's role in the battlefield
b.women invisible role in the world politics and social order


4.frailty and strength in the contemporary world


-In this revolutionized nuclear age the significant difference of muscular power which tipped the scales in past no more significant.
-women's role in combat forces
-women's role in peacemaking processes all around the world
-women's role in contemporary economic and political order

5. How can this myth be disabused?
a.Gender sensitivity strategies such as gender mainstreaming and gender equality
b.social reconstruction of womanhood
c.uproot deep entrenched patriarchal approaches for the good of only women but humanity at large
