You Brother! are a lifesaver. These are my true feelings.
I used to think the same way about essay writing as you do, the day i entered an academy the teachers took the mick out of my thoughts and said exactly opposite to what you wrote up there and what i think too. I was so scared today but fortunately came across your post. I'm just praying for you from the bottom of my heart. Live long mate! |

I just have no words to express my delight after having received such comments of yours and other fellows. I'm not a life-saver but a simple human being. I read a text message which stated, " An expert is a person who tells you a simple thing in a complicated manner just to make you think that the confusion was your own fault. " I'm not an expert but a human being, a simple human being. Just remember in your prayers. :-) Regards, Ainu. :-)

Ainuddin bhai first of all I would like to thank you for your selfless effort aiming at providing some sort of relief to the aspirants suffering from essay-phobia. I found your post very helpful. I have two questions in my mind. First: Is it a must to write an outline in neat before the essay? and if yes then: Is it a must to make out a paragraph of each bullet/ point of that outline. Secondly I would like to ask that what should be the length of a paragraph in terms of number of words and sentences. I mean how far can we strerch or contact a paragraph. An input from others seniors will be appretiated as well.

I couldn't agree more brother. I will like to share my personal experience here. 2012 was my 1st attempt & I opted 'A Critical Analysis of Education Systems in Pakistan.' just on my instinct. I kept it as simple as it can be. I didn't use much quotes or excerpts. I even couldn't compile the outline properly due to lack of time but still I managed 48 marks. Why ?? Because I think it was all my own content in plain & simple language.
So I will say that instead of opting an anticipated essay, go for the one that addresses generic issues so you rely more on your own thoughts than some uniform statistics which 9 out of 10 candidates will pen down. May God be with all.. |
