skywatcher,

some of the topics you've prepared seem unimportant. atleast i didn't waste my time with them. you're perhaps missing some important chapters like definitions/discoveries/inventions/devices etc.

hardwork in everyday science is worth it. i got 78.

regards,

actually i didn't concentrate much on the first four topics you enumerated. perhaps i found them too easy or a little unimportant.

i am incapable of giving you the topic names. but i'll tell you my strategy. as a matter of aptitude, i'd always been comfortable with science. i don't face much problem in understanding it. so my bent of mind made everyday science easy for me.

i used two books by dr. m. a. kashmiri and iqbal a. bhatti. after studying them thoroughly, i went through the previous question papers. if i still missed anything in those two books, i used to search on internet. so, question papers are your best guide.

a greater part of everyday science exam is objective type. that has made the subject more extensive thus difficult. i will advise you not to skip anything in the syllabus or question papers. everyday science is a subject that will offset losses in other less scoring compulsory subjects.

regards,

The book I have is Rab nawaz Somo`s EDS. I got this last year while my trip back to pak. I am not sure if this is the perfect book but this was what I got from the book shop. Besides, i am planning to go along with the syllabus and this forum and other resources online.

My question is how to answer the objective type questions?
1. How long should an answer be(though it depends on the questions but on average)?
2. Headings and sub-headings can be given(Just like any other subject)?

Much Appreciated!

in everyday science or any other exam of css, the trick is to meet the requirements of question. i don't remember any question in my turn which required sub-headings. at least i did not use them. if required, you may use them. there's no restriction.

for me, the criterion of determining the length of an answer in any subject of css was the number of marks the question carried. my strategy was to write down one page of the answer copy for the sake of 3 marks. the rule however didn't strictly apply to everyday science.

everyday science can best be prepared from matric level physics, chemistry and biology.they cover both objective and subjective papers.
@bunko
heading should be avoided in essay paper cause in essay apart from other facotors your cohesion is examined and headings break the cohesion.

A page for 3 marks should I count this as an average answer?

i didn't get your point completely. in subjects like pakistan affairs, current affairs, political science, indian history etc. i tried to write at least 6 pages for a 20 marks question. but then i just show the way how i qualified css. other qualifiers wouldn't necessarily think like me. you must apply your own judgment and accept from me what you find logical and reasonable.
