@ 9

answer is we recognize various persons' voices on phone or in dark due to quality.
plz refer musical and noise and sound in physics

@ 50

carbon dioxide is obtained by following reaction
glucose+oxygen-----> energy+water+ carbon dioxide

so CO2 is obtained from the oxidation of glucose

50. Animals obtain carbon dioxide mainly from :

a) Starch
b) Sucrose
c) Glucose
d) Glycogen
e) None of these

The only suitable choice from a,b,c and d options can be C) Glucose. In few cases, it turned out be e) None of these. The rationale behind e) None of these is that like human beings, animals also obtain co2 from atmosphere (air). Again,this answer is susceptible subjected to criticism by old hands at EDS.

You are right. Actually, its usually transferred by Feces-contaminated water. It's one tricky question

This is a bad worded question. To clear the concept, animals do not acquire Carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, though it is present in inhaled air. During the process of breathing, the air we inhale contains 0.04% carbon dioxide (on an average) but the concentration of carbon dioxide in our blood (which is brought to lungs for purification) is more than that of 0.04%. due to this difference in concentration, the carbon dioxide moves from blood cell to lungs surface (process of osmosis). this excessive carbon dioxide is then exhaled out when we breath out. so as a human beings we contribute by releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

it is clear that the answer to this question is glucose.

to add a few lines to your answer. The carbon dioxide that we inhale does not get chemically altered in our body. i.e. is not used in any process in our body. Oxygen on the other hand, when in-haled, combines with Glucogose, to give out Carbon Dioxide, Water and Energy. Thus we see that Oxygen gets chemically altered.
