For example, this question has nothing to do with Maths. It's more of an IQ one:

A question for all cricket lovers and friends..!! How many runs a single player can score in One day match (50 overs/ 300 balls)... No 'no balls', no wides, no extras, no over throws... So how much runs he can score max??? This quetion came in CSS Exam and 99% people answered it wrong.Choices :A) 1800. B) 1650. C) 1653. D) 1550. E) 1555

PS: I don't know if it actually appeared in CSS. But the psychological assessment does have an IQ part...

Anyone who isn't good at maths should not worry either. Just grab a GRE book from the market or an E Book (plenty available online) and start practicing. It's fun and you can learn quite fast. At the same time let me I reiterate that someone who is good at maths should not automatically think they'll ace the exam without practice. They might need to exert much less but should be acquainted with GRE kind quantitative tests.
Kindly can you share the E-book of GRE?

Ok, I am confused :p . If we are to consider that the single player is playing regular cricket, with a batsman on the other side of the pitch, then don't they sort of change sides after each over? Like, the player facing the bowler will go to the other end after each over and thus bringing the other batsman on the batting end. In this way, the single player in question would face six balls of the first over and five of all the rest of 49 overs(considering he doesn't get out throughout the 50 overs and also manages to occupy the crease for maximum number of balls to be faced). Now, SOMEHOW he manages to hit a six at every single ball he faces, the maximum possible number of runs to be scored under these ideal conditions can be calculated as follows: 6*6=36 ( for the first over) plus 245*6=1470, thus leaving us with 1506. OR, the guy could play all the 300 balls and with a six at every ball, he could score 1800 maximum. :/

It is simple
At every ball of last over he will have to rotate strike by taking 3 runs uptill 49th over
In the 50th the batsman will hit 6 sixes;
49×33=1617 and in last over 36 runs added that makes the grand total as 1653...

Don't worry. The General Abilities section might not be this tricky. All I was trying to show was that it isn't simply 'maths'.
