Seniors,

Please confirm, if one got failed in any of the General Knowledge paper but still aggregate is 120 of GK. Would he/she be able to qualify for the interview if Total if above 600.

yes if someone has 120 aggragate in GK and above 600 in total he or she is called for interveiw.

General Knowledge :
Paper - I Every Day Science 100
(*MCQs=50 Marks + Subjective=50 Marks)
Paper - II Current Affairs 100
Paper - III Pakistan Affairs 100

Dear,

Candidate is required to score minimum 120/300 to qualify General Knowledge papers successfully. No matter whether the candidate gets the required marks in two or three subjects. For instance, candidate A gets 60 marks in EDS, 30 in Pak Affairs, and 30 in Current Affairs that make 60+30+30=120 means he has passed General Knowledge papers, and qualifies for the interview if his aggregate is 600 minimum and he has passed optional papers as well.

I wish to add a little bit of detail for clarification:
Passing all (or any) of the optional papers is not necessary, as long as you are able to fulfill the TWO conditions, i.e. a candidate failing one or more optionals is considered PASS if he/she has passed all compulsory subjects and scored atleast 600 in aggregate.

P.S: There is a rule that if you fail one optional subject and pass in aggregate, you are declared pass. i just found out
Good score there in written, and your trump cards are the score in the following subjects that saved your day:

what a score in Pak Affairs!
