I'd like to add a few words of our beloved Quaid at this occassion...

I hope that the Officers will keep these words in their minds when making any decision and will earn honor and glory to their country.

i want to convey congratulations to all of the 37th commoners on their marvellous achievement .

special congrats to u on getting merit quota seat of PAAS along with me. Hope we are adamant to our stand that PAAS is much better than incom tax due to its brisk horizontal and vertical mobility.

Opting for either PAAS or ITG as 5th preference has always been a critical decision, but i believe both the groups have pros and cons. I visited senior CSPs, and almost 90% serving officers recommended me to prefer PAAS to ITG for certain reasons. I believe we have to serve our country, and all services are good in their respective precinct. For some ITG is of greater worth and vice versa. You are right as far as mobility, authority, and promotion are concerned. Pay should not be the deciding factor at all. I have very good friends [Mumtaz Maneka, Dr. Hassan Mabroor, Ahmad Ali Mukhtar] who are in ITG and they have valid and substantial reasons in favour of ITG also. Hence, i must say we don't need to debate over this issue.

But i am glad to have a colleague like you. Keep in touch.

thanks asif bhai for the compliments and encouraging remarks. Iam sure you are enjoying ur moments .yes u are right ,let us not discuss the plus and minuses of each group as there is little difference of marks among diff group holders. BT even then i dont know why we cant forget the fact that custom was just 3,4 marks away from us. Allah jo kerta hai hamaray haq main behtar krta hai.
