well how wud u guys rate EDS objectives by IMTIAZ SHAHID as he has given almost 4600 mcqz in it. R they really helpful.....if v r to have 50 objective marks...then i think it cud be more than helpful but m quite confused abt it, ur suggestion ll add some points to my confidence.....
It is really helpful. You must go through this book.

MCQs are very important if you want to score well in EDS. Give equal time to both subjective and objective part. It is common practice of candidated to take less time for MCQs, though they are equally important (50 marks).

thanx yar
i can realize how imporrtant it can be cz dis iz the only subject which can give us numerical marks.....so it ll pay hardwork inshallah. I ve cvrd3-4 chapters of Imtiaz shahid's objectives and im really finding it helpful.....some senior had advised me to go thru it.....
So its my general calculation if v cud give only3 days to this buk.....50 marks are sure in our pocket and rest depends on us....like how much v can pile it up like 80,70,90 or wtsoever.......

I personally think that both subjective and objective go side by side. Although we can cover the subjective portion from some sections of syllabus even then we go for thorough reading, this is mainly to prepare objective that can come from any section.

May be some people find it useful to prepare objective separately. For me it is hard to remember things out of their context. So I prefer to prepare the whole.

Got a book of some five thousand EDS objectives and someone claimed that almost all of the previous year objective questions are there in it. But I don't think this is a deal and 50 questions from 5000 is an achievement. Like such a lengthy book should have covered every aspect.

So instead of preparing 50 MCQs about where the image will form and what terminologies are used for concave and convex lenses, I found it easier to cover this on two pages of text book. So that I know the context and the concept then can attempt it whether it comes as objective or subjective.

This is what we call crashing state n software engineering. When you know you can't meet every requirement then just go for critical ones and try to achieve as much as possible.

@Artemis
I used Ilyas Kashmiri's book for EDS and in the end he has solved past papers and even that help a lot,I think at the moment no one will have the time to read 5000 MCQ's.
