Well it is interesting to mention how css examination appears to a technocrat knowing only diodes and capacitors, but still i loved it...This field really Roks! Extends vision and perceptions.

Brothers,I hibernated for a period of 75 days for the exam and went on to opt for subjects which my seniors ever strictly dis advised, Applied Mathematics and Physics,consuming 45 days of the time.

later on Current affairs motivated me to feel bad to a greater extent but some thing "WAS" better than nothing. The field was extremely new,interesting but in contrast to Engineering requires,to some extent, only length of material and expansion for nothing.

I ,my self have attempted each and every question with the way i liked, opinion,comments and analysis,excluding the idea how weird it may look to the checker? Earlier I smelled in the forum that one should write 7-8 pages for each 20 marks question,but as a fact,It is impossible except for the one who writes 20-30 words/ page.

For all the friends willing to appear in next exam,I recommend to BE YOURSELF,OPT subjects what ever you like, Avoid the conventional DIPLOMACY in commenting and analyzing and postpone it till your recruitment

ce2010 was a wonderful as well as a painful experience for me. i enjoyed and cried at the same time. having 2 papers daily seemed to be the preparation of exam of the judgement day,especially when you r struck by food poisoning. but, by the grace of almighty, i did well.

essay paper was quite tricky. query pertaining 3rd gender was interesting.
i opted Q. of natural resources. tried to embellish the sheet with quotes of jinnah, verses of iqbal and facts n figures.

grammer paper,s envious summary was xenophobic. but managed it well.
but still anxious .........

eds was 75%. C.affairs paper was decorated with maps,graphs,data,adopting the derision from the routine style.
p.aff. paper was penned by giving references from many eminent authors.
maps and graphs.......adopted almost same scheme as was applied in c.affairs.

islamiat was the worst attempt. i got bored owing to similarity of queries.

optional papers:
indo pak history paper A .....was a bad day.
paper B was par excellence at least in my opinion.
geography A was badly done. B paper was excellent.

p.admn. proved to be the bhool bhuliyan in objective portion.

Journalism: each question was dealt with over confidence, amalgum of theories from other questions. but it was the only paper which was completed a few minutes before time.

when the exams ended, i felt like the prisoner released.

I really enjoyed attempting Sociology paper

Almost 1 or 2 MCQs might be wrong othrwise rest went righht

I attempted paper in extreme MAZA cz it was Halwa paper on my part, whatever i had focused that eventually appeared in paper, so it was a good luck for me....But seniors told me that Sociology is not scoring when i came out of the exam hall and all hopes got burried in dust!!!!

I attempted it with great taste of enjoyment almost all MCQS went superb exept 1 or 2 rare ones........

N subjective was awsome but i was desperate when i came out the seniors told me sociology is low scoring it will not yield good score for you@@@

It was the most scintillating experience I have ever had in my whole life. I started my preparations only a week before the examinations.

In the essay the only topic I was acquainted with was natural resources and I tried my level best to capitalize on my knowledge. The comprehension section was no big deal.

EVD, Islamiat, PS, CA. Prepared for not more than 48 hours for each of them but still managed to do well in EVD and the analysis mode of questioning in PS, CA and Islamiat helped me fill the sheets with adaquate meaningful material. I was also able to make some good calculated guesses in the objective section.

Political Science. Paper 1 was disastrous and Paper 2 was fairly gud.

Accounting and Auditing. Paper 1 was disastrous and Paper 2 was fairly gud. Can someone plz tellme the marking scheme in the accounting questions? e.g, the balance sheet. Will I be given marks for some part of the question which I have attempted correctly as is the general norm in accounting?

Statistics. Venn Diagram saved me.

International Relations was a good one.

Salam brother.i am very impressed with the way you have gone for CSS-examination.You have set a benchmark for other CSS aspirants.You have showed a perfect example that one should go to examination centre without any tension and ,CSS,since it is a very uncertain exam,deserves this type of treatment.

I had been once told by my teacher to finish studies as quickly as possible.you seem to have followed that exam.
I wish you all the best and i know your strategy will move you into the top 5 easily.

My first attempt.I was the first one who reached the center.quite puzzled to view the paper of essay but restored soon.i had chosen the topic;can women be equal to men in Pakistani society?The precie paper i still fell regret that i did alot of cutting.(my fault whenever i got confused by exam).General KNoledge papers went well.Islamiat;i felt as i did no prepartion.But i managed to solve the paper.general knoledge paper was tremendous.

Optional Subject;
Question paper of these subject broke all the previous record.Indo-Pak history paper was ok.Physics and Applied mathematics all were basic.I m still numbed as compared to my preparation and the exams i solved.similarly i m unexpected about the result.
