Well Umar the answers of two questions were completely known to me in Geo-1 and I expect 16 out of 20 in both of these questions. Besides that, 10 of my objectives were surely correct. I dont know what goes wrong with Geography as a subject in 2010. To me, Geography is on the declining end for most of the doctors and engineers are taking it as one of their electives.

This move might be intended to keep the cream of the nation out of Bureaucracy. As the reins of Pakistan are currently in the hands of corrupt and immoral folks. I do not believe its my result but I have to accept it.....

Don't worry about Geography for this year. I have seen one failure with an aggregate of 134 in Geo. Surely this is a respectable tally. This however applies less if you say you messed up one question.

In order to qualify the written exam, your total marks should be 600 or above.

aggregate score is the total score out of 1200 (in the written part).... it is the sum of 6 compulsory subjects and another 600 optional marks (can be 3 subjects of 200 or 6 subjects of 100 marks or some other combination).

To qualify the written part and get a chance for the interview, one needs atleast 50% marks of the total marks. i.e. the aggregate score must be 600 or above!

Qualified candidates cannot learn about their marks before the final merit list is published by the commission.

no sister...no question is a silly question ..

kher, initially fpsc just tells you that you have cleared the CSS Written Examinations which means that you have achieve 600+ marks in the written papers (1200 total). It could be anywhere between 600 and 1200. It also means that you have not failed any compulsory or Optional subject (although you may have failed one paper in the Optional 200 subject).

It will be followed by a session of Medical Examination, Psychological and the Interview. The interview has 300 marks. So the total is 1500. The FPSC will announce the total marks out of 1500 and the merit number in the list
