hey guyz!

i too had taken 2011 exams with the following optionals
geography
indo-pk history
journalism
IR

As it was my first attempt, i share a similar experience mentioned by some of the members in this thread. Nevertheless, you can never get the feel of ‘the exam’ unless you have experienced it on your own. So much for my first attempt, now lets see what have i done.

PS : desperately waiting for the result!

According to my analysis mostly opted subjects are

Geography
Psychology
Sociology
Journalism

Default Advice Needed!
Guys as I intend to appear in 2012 exams as well what do you people suggest,should I go with the same subject combination,that is: indo-pk history, geography, IR and journalism or should I replace journalism with US history and indo-pk history with psychology. Given the time constraint, would it be possible to prepare two entirely new subjects in four months or should I better work on the ones I previously opted.

Seniors kindly suggest.

I think one should not change subjects in 2nd and third attempt other then some very serious problem from existing subjects. Prepare well for your previous subjects, dont listen to people about scoring trend etc, these subjects give good marks too and you will have chances to get good marks in 2nd attempt due to repetition and experience of previously appearing in them.
