I have a passion for history. ..have a huge library in my house. ....have read not less than hundreds of books on indo pak history......its the table talk of my home as my father has been reading history since 35 years...my elder bro scored 76 in his attempt.....my paper went fantastic. I have no clue what happened)

B.admin 66 ( as expected. wasnt well prepared)
Sociology 43 (shocking!!! Had a fantastic paper 17 mcqs were correct)

panel slaughtered me in viva marks just bcos i was wearing scarf n opted fsp as my first option they asked many questions regarding scarf

You need legs to win a 100 m sprint, but all of us have legs ,ao why aren't we all athletes.
Same is the case of English in interview. You have to communicate with the panel in English, so if you don't know how to speak English or you are not comfortable in articulating your thoughts in English, so how do you expect the panel to judge you well.
So, English is our official language so Is expected to speak this language before entering civil services.
Though it's a prerequisite , but it's not a guaranteegood score in interview.

PS: gullanay was in my interview group, had a little conversation with her( as far as I remember that was not in English) and I knew she would score better than me , and she did.
So, I believe, interview is all about your personality , your approach and your outlook on Life.
Hats off Gulanay, I knew you'll land somewhere good.

It has been a blessing of God to have secured 200 plus in both attempts.So far as I have gathered from my experience;there is an element of unpredictability in CSS which prevents to lay down definite and tangible rules for success.Yet,I believe that good interview marks are resting on following pillars:-

1.One must be able to speak beautiful and fluent English.
2.One must have sound knowledge of all the current affairs topics.
3.One must try to speak his heart out;I mean that if asked about controversial issues;one must have courage to present bitter facts in mild and pleasing language.
4.Passion for literature is an added advantage.
5.One must perform well in psychological as psychological paves the way for final interview.
6.One must be confident and is required to have unshakable resolve in his ideas and doctrines.[/LIST]

sister we are proud of you, don't you worry, if you are doing good then ALLAH will do what is good for you.....You were wearing the scarf because ALLAH want you to do this so just relax.....
