Is it good we do self study instead join academy?

WOW. MashaAllah so many people with psychology and sociology this year that I'm seriously wondering now what would become of me.
May Allah help us all.
After hard time I finally decided upon these subjects.

Psychology
Islamic History and Culture
Sociology &
Journalism. However I am highly inclined towards International Law and need advise on it. Should I replace it with sociology? Which would be easy to prepare in short duration.

As im having Sociology as my optional i would suggest you to go with sociology as it does not take much time for preparation and its the easiest one It hardly takes 2 weeks max !

Thanks Anoushay. Im really concerned for my 200 marks paper now. Some people consuming me that islamic history is vast and tough and psychology at css level is highly tough to0. Is it true? I got n0 other best option sadly.

Your most welcome . Well as far as Islamic history is concerned, Its vast and to some extent it is true, but proper guidance and to the point preparation makes this lengthy syllabus a very brief one .. There are a few main topics which need to be studied extensively, the remaining bulk of topics need just to be gone through and not to be covered with much detail at all .Its not that even tough if you have interest in history . Moreover, its highly scoring if properly prepared and attempted . Plus point:also helps in islamiat


Comparatively , Psychology is a subject for a person like me who feels easy with theoritical stuff than grasping history and its dates . Psychology ,again you dont need to cover all the topics . Yes its theoritical as well as analytical and not dry as islamic history . Hence , having psycho as optional i feel comfortable with it and 20 days are enough if given proper time .

For both , you dont need to have a background . Both are vast but not tough depending upon which subject you can easily manage.

Secondly , dont get drag with others views on your subjects . I believe if you are good in handling what you have choose go with it . In the end its all about how you presented no body can mark you wrong in that .

Its fine , if you have no other optionals left . Just prepare to-the-point for the subjects you dont have much time , background and even interest .
