After form submission it is FPSC which has to further respond, not the candidates.. so chill now you have done your job now its FPSC's turn..

Sir, has the result for CE 2013 been ann0unced? What is the scoring trend ?
Im having Islamic History, Journalism, Psychology and Sociology. Are they ok as per trends? Am having last minute doubts about sociology. Should I replace it with Public Admin ? Kindly reply soon. Am finalising my application.

Hope you all are doing good. At this very last moment, before I submit my form for CE-2014 tomorrow, I would like people to comment on the two subject combinations and rate them as to which one is going to help me have a better chance at getting a good score. I know this is late and I had been so sure of combination A but now that I fill my form, somewhere in the back of my mind I am not so sure of keeping Psychology. To elaborate a bit, I find the subject interesting and would be able to prepare good if I give my best but there have been speculations about the possibility of scores going down in future. As for Agriculture and Public Ad, these two subjects will require time but I will manage to do so if required.

COMBINATION:

Geography

Psychology OR Agriculture and Public Ad

US History

Forestry

I will be very grateful to the seniors for their guidance..

Sociology makes a better pair with Geography and Psychology, as these subjects help each other in one or another manner.. If you have opted Psychology then I would suggest you to keep up with Sociology too but do remember you need analytical skills for both of these papers..

CE-2013's result has not been announced yet I think this is also one of the reasons that they are delaying the result to discourage "scoring trend"..

Scoring trend according to me is a "myth", its just that you have to perform well,CE-2011 Journalism paper was failed by many candidates but there were candidates who secured a score even in 70's.. So I would suggest don't follow scoring trend just opt subjects according to your taste and perform well.. it will pay you very well


Dear as I suggested earlier combination should be according to your taste not the scoring trend..

Geography,Psychology will require analytical skills, and US History is a good subject if you have a sound knowledge of US Current Affairs it will pay you very well..

Public Ad, if you have a background of public ad, i would encourage you to opt otherwise it will only be a "rata" subject

rest depends upon your abilities and aptitude.

They have asked Years (frm and to) in both academic record dnd Extra cr. Activities. Am really confused. I know exact years of my Intermediate and Gradutation. However I dont knw what to menti0n in (from) matric date. I know (to) i.e 2004. Please help? And is it important to mention extra cr. Dates to0?

An0ther thing. Is it compulsory to attach extra cr. Activities and Private jobs certificates?

Dear mark sheets would have a date on them write that one and if Extracurricular activities is certified then submit certificate otherwise no need to submit it and in similar way dates are not necessary if you are not certified for any activity, you may just mention from when you started and till now if you are doing so..

In matriculation it will be from 2002 to 2004 (9th and 10th ) and intermediate from 2004 to 2006 (both 1st year and 2nd year)..

658 outta 1100 = 2nd division ( 59.81%) 1st division starts from 60%

441 outta 850 = 2nd division

Hello Good & Helping People at CSS Forums:

I just want to make sure that i have everything before i submit my application.

1. I have applied online and now i have printed out that form. It has some mistakes which i have corrected with Pen. Text on the print out is kind of blurry. Is it going to create any problem?

2. I have attested documents with 4 passport size photographs.

3. I have treasury receipt.


Please tell me if i am good to go to post my form tomorrow.


I would really appreciate the reply before morning.
