Application rejection reason,according to fpsc;Educationally unqualified in terms of rule 5 (i) of CE -2014.Result of BSC 8th semester not yet been announced.on the other hand candidate acquired hope certificate from the concerned degree awarding institution on the bases of 7th semester result which states that He will get degree before cutoff date 31/12/2013 with first division.As rule 5 (i) of css 2014 states in case a candidate dont hold bachelor degree on or before cutoff date,he/she shall be required to produce a certificate from the duly authorized officer of the concerned degree awarding institution.
my question is why candidate was rejected as he fulfilled all the fpsc requirement????

I think certificate means provisional certificate which is issued before degree. FPSC doesn't accept hope certificate.

Try to recall whether you made the particular mistake or not ? Moreover, the rejected candidate's full name is mentioned, try to check does your full name match with the mentioned one.

Same thing happened with me and I was like this eyes:
I called FPSC they checked and checked while I was on hold and finally it was not me

provisional certificate serves as degree as long as original degree is not issued. Just like board issue marks certificate at the time of matric or inter result you use it before "Sanad" is issued. Provisional certificate is issued to those students by university who have completed their course but waiting for degree to be issued. Hope certificate is something different.

Hope certificate is issued if result is yet to be declared but their are maximum chances that candidate will pass or fetch required marks
