In point of view, they are not 100% relying over their data because of supply of inaccurate data by the candidates and data entry mistakes by DEO. Mostly candidates do not pay much attention how to write their name e.g. one writes Malik Azam Khan Mastoi in 2009 and writes Azam Khan Mastoi in 2010. And in the similar manner "M. Tahir" and "Muhammad Tahir" and so on. Further data feeding errors are common in our govt. institutions. Press Release is the simple way to avoid such errors and mistakes. As it is repeated sentence "Errors & emissions are expected." I have heard that mostly candidates do not know how to fill the boxes below their roll number at MCQ Answer Sheets. These issues must be dealt by govt. at one place like NADRA where each and every citizen of Pakistan is registered and all his preliminary particulars are with them. Other Govt. Departments should take that data from them on CNIC. This way other departments have no need to feed preliminary data about a person and no more errors. Regard |

I think they will be maintaining the candidate record on basis of ID card num. That's the way no one can bypass them. Like they will definitely be tracking the number of attempts of every individual on its basis as is unique to everyone without any exceptions.

@Artemis
You are right. But what is the surety that their DEO are feeding 100% accurate data, in this case, CNIC number and may be, a candidate is writing or providing inaccurate CNIC number over his application form, intentionally or unintentionally. Therefore, mostly departments avoid to have responsibility of errors on their side. They give simple a press release and waive off from their responsibilities. |

About inaccurate CNIC number, they ask for ID card copies so can validate.

I know very well. I gave the example of data provider. How much they are inconsistent, there is no end. @Artemis This depends upon, from where they are feeding their CNIC and I don't think it is a good practice to scan each and every copy of CNIC. Instead they might be scanning the first page of application form and then DEO feed it from that scanned page. There is no end of error possibilities in human works. Human practices are never Perfect. PERFECTION IS WITH ONLY ONE THAT IS ALLAH. |

yar but who would be that much stupid by wasting his thousand rupee and providing fake documents or id? cos at the end of the day, before all the candidates after passing n getting their allocation, are properly scrutinized. so there is no question of providing fake ids

Brother!
Here I am not talking about fake IDs. I am talking about inconsistency of data providers. Many people write their names on application form different from the name at their CNIC and different at the examination center using different spellings. "Atay main namak k brabar hain jo consistence hotay hain". May be you also some times make shortcut to write your name spelling differently. |
