My task was

"A tale of two cities"

Few year back, municiple administration undertook a huge constuction plan, where they erased small shops and were replaced with huge shopping palza. Shopkers were duely compensated. This project proved greaat success as huge revenue was generated. Moreover economic activity alsoincreasedby manyfold.

Now authoritie agaian want to purue a very similar plan but they havebeen pitted against agrieved shopkeeper assosiation who have rose against the project. Neither, they are unwilling to budg from their stance, not any economic compensation will be accepable to them. Common citizen are in favor of project so is municiple authority. Being DCO, fix the problem.

My task was rather long and very complex, consisted of full side of page. Above mentioned is just a synopsis of it. My neighbour's was a OF ONLY FOUR LINES.

I will try to share other's task as well but now gonna sign off.

Ranjha would u mind telling me that is there only one opening sentence for all four stories in STORY WRITING????

bro what is the dress code for the occasion i mean what should one wear i.e formal suit or informal dress would be ok

On first day you afford to be in slighty informal mode.
Its all about rigorous writing , no interaction with psychologits. Dress pant shirt, Shalwar qameez can do it, but dont have to be odd one out as mostly people dress tightly

On 2nd day, dress perfetly formal, ideally go for your favourite suit.


No dear, every story has its own opening sentence. I mean 4 different opening sentences for four stories.

Psychological Interview.

Psychological interview is more or less a straight forward affair, atleast that is how it proved to be for me. It lasted for about 20 mints. Question that I can recollect now were :

Introduce yourself

2,3 questions on my family background e.g my parents, siblings, etc.

Educational background

My business after degree completion

Leisure time activities

My css preparation

PMS/pcs experience

My assignment in foreign office

Since my degree is in IR, so questions were asked on

Pak-Iran

Pak-india

Pak-BD

MFN, its prospects

D-8 conference

1971 war, its details,

Kashmire

Judiciary

Above-mentioned were the chief areas that were touched upon in interview, there must be more questions but cant remember now.

Overall, it was a satisfying experience for me. I said sorry on 2 ocasions.
Wish best of luck to all those who are going to feature in this process sooner or later. I hope you people can grab some idea out of it, though different people will havedifferent experience.
