Default Is IR a right choice now?

I want to opt IR but no background regarding this subject. Its almost 3 and half month left. Can I complete this subject in this duration (also have to prepare other subjects)? If not suggest me alternatives. My other optionals are:

Physics
Environmental Science
Town Planning

I don't think it's wise to go for IR while you're already starting a little late. The IR course is easy but the mere gathering of notes and course material from different sources will consume the bulk of your time. Let's see what other members suggest. For a better response state your background (seems engineering, but remove any doubts) and whether you're a good memoriser. Also, why are you avoiding the relatively easier History subjects like US History...

If you have no background in IR then forget it, because it may lapse more than two months,
you may opt 2 out of these 4 subjects
regional language, History of USA, Gender Studies, Int. Law

I have done Mechanical Engineering. Please suggest the alternatives that are easy to prepare and have been proved scoring.

Psychology is an interesting subject and considered scoring. May be you should give it a try. For the last one you could go for History of US... The good thing about both these subjects is that you probably will get all quality material to study relatively easily and both have a reputation of being scoring. If you're over-patriotic like me, l explain it to yourself that studying history of the US will help you j become a more informed and insightful diplomat

IR would likely be one of the lowest scoring subjects in CE16. Stay away from IR and consider some other subjects which are not risky and low scoring.
