Opting for political science without having a background in the subject
Is it advisable for an aspirant to opt for Political science without having any prior knowledge in the subject? What are the chances of getting a decent score? (120 plus) and what are the chances of complete disaster? (failing the subject)

If you are intending for css 2016, never go for it without having any background, the syllabus is now lengthy. But if you are css 2017 aspirant, you can go for it without having any past studies and all you need to do is hardworking.

Never ever do the same. Pol sc is already considered as low scoring and should not be opted unless one has masters degree in it.
