how should i prepare
i have not studied us history before but i have chosen this subject because it is scoring i have purchased two volumes of r.k majumdar i just want to know can i cover this subject in one month by giving three hours daily and what topics should i cover because books seems to me very lenghty

yes ofcourse you can do it... but remember one has to repeat the history at least twice... and you should divide it in the following pattern...
1. Independence movement and war 2. constitution making 3. Federalist regime and anti-federalists 4. 1800-1837 presidents and events are important from paper point of view 5. Civil War 0f 1861 6. from 1898 to today...
these are important topics regarding the paper... and yes you must go through the past papers so as to understand which topics are important... you don't need to cram these two books in its entirety because this subject is of only 100 marks.... |

Aoa,
Majumdar is good for the time of making notes. it's better that you read OUTLINE OF US HISTORY, published by US STATE DEPARTMENT. moreover, unlike other history available 4 css, this is very analytical. so, be different from CRAMMERS!
