Default which books actually answer the questions like these?

[2009:] Write a comprehensive note on the Islamization of the laws in Pakistan. Do you think that islamization of laws has in any way improved the Judicial and Governance systems of the Country?

[2007:] Discuss in detail the process of Islamization in Pakistan?

my point in general is the process of Islamization and laws administered in Pakistan !!!

The process of Islamization took place in Zia's era. His contributions toward Islamization.
1-Islamic Punishments under "Islamic Legal Code" in 1979
-amputation for theft
-80 lashes for drinking
-100 for adultery by unmarried
-stoning to married who committed adultery
-hanging for rape
2-In 1979 Hudood Laws (Islamic Penal code) was promulgated by amending the existing laws.
3-Qanun e Shahadat ordinance in 1984
4-Sanctity of Ramzan, 500 rupees fine for contradicting
5-Nizam e Salat 1984
6-Zakat and Ushar Ordinance in1980
7-Interest free banking in 1981, saving accounts were changed with P/L sharing accounts, in 1982 Mudarba was introduced

Most of the steps toward Islamization were taken by Zia, but to analyse the stability of those ordinances and their acceptability, They flopped except the few. because of improper way of introduction, environment was not feasible, all of the laws were drafted during the Marshall Law, so no one was there to point out the flaws, for instance by ordering and drafting law one can not end the usury and interest, and the biggest blunder was that the banks changed the name of the accounts from saving to Profit and loss sharing account despite the function was the same.

and few years back in 2006 i think the hudood ordinance was amended by Musharraf which deteriorated the condition much more.
just gave my opinion so if the same topic is asked in essay one must have a wide view.

any particular book I do not remember, there would be many books. may be books covering Pakistan study, history and Pak affairs consist the topic.
