I made a single sentence from the pair of words. Is it incorrect to do so?

If your sentence is meaningful then of course you have done it correctly. It does not need to be single or multi sentense.

He swore on God is incorrect, He swore by God is the correct one!

The precis was to be 100 words long but i think mine took around 120 words.
My Word meanings: Acrimonius - a) bitter Calligraphy- b) handwriting Demise d) death Incendiary c) causing fire Essay - c) Attempt My opposites: Melancholy - b - happy Obliterate - a - preserve Ally - b - foe Vulgar - c - exquisite Pretend - d- substantiate My Idioms: (these are not the exact sentences that i made) Make for: (means to substitute for something, as when you go for camping you can use fire wood which would make for a stove) Discretion is the better part of valour (i made a tiny one sentence story of this, but what does this mean?) Look down upon (to view with contempt, as rich people look down upon poor people) Iconoclast (one who destroys cold cherished traditions, as Our Prophet did. Literally idol breaker) A swan song (I dont know what this meant, so i left it) My Correct sentences ii - The climate of pakistan is better than that of England iii - he swore upon God iv - You ought to regard him as your benefactor v - My friend is very ill, I find it likely that he will die soon. vii - When i see her I shall deliver her your gift. My change the narration i - On Monday he informed that his son was coming that day. ii - They asked him, "Let us know where you are going next week?" (I think i have made a mistake here but i dont exactly remember) iii - He asked if she had gone the day before. iv - He swore upon God that he did not know her nickname. viii - He asked how i would manage it. __________________ Thanx very much! Quote:
It implies that we should carry on the commendable and dedicated works of past generations and should upheld the trust reposed in us by taking their works ahead. If we get satisfied with what has already been acheived by mankind to make life happier and worthliving and don't explore the mysteries of world on the plea that enough has been done.
