returning to the previous comment of the thread, yes you are right, i have a lot of material to criticize the very respected rulers and that too with references but it is against the discipline of the forum to discuss off-topic so I Stop.......... lets return to the thread title. I think all we can do is protest. We strongly condemn the statement of Fozia Wahab and ask the authorities to take actions against such people.
1. Fozia Wahab (for committing Gunah-e-Kabeera)
2. Minister for Defence Production Mr. Jatoi for his on air statement against The Supreme Court of Pakistan and accepting the fact that he has done corruption and admitting that he is corrupt. (as youtube is banned, i can't give the link of the video.)

Fouzia Wahab did not compare president with Hazrat Umar (R.A). It was the tv anchor who said that Hazrat Umar was accountable before the Qazi. She never made any comparison. I think first you people should get the facts correct before launching this discussion.

Fauzia Wahab accused of blasphemy

LAHORE: The Justice Lawyers Group on Tuesday filed a petition against an SHO for not registering an FIR against Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab.

The convener of the lawyers group, Sohail Baig Noori accused Wahab of blasphemy by indulging in ‘loose talk’ culminating into a defamatory statement about Hazrat Omar. He alleged that Fauzia Wahab compared President Asif Ali Zardari to the caliph.

The group also accused Wahab of comparing the Pakistan Constitution to the Holy Quran which the lawyers said is blasphemous.

The Court ordered a notification to the SSP investigation to inquire into the incident before any such FIR is registered.

If the case is registered and goes to court, the maximum penalty, if convicted, for the crime is life imprisonment and the minimum is three years imprisonment.



Can any body tell me on what constitutional and legal grounds Fauzia Wahab is being charged of blasphemy?
do u people know what the mufti sahb said??he said that she had committed a gunah-e-kabira and advised her to repent and observe patience. A mufti of islam has issued this fatwa. i hope that fauzia wahab must hv worked out on what the Mufti sahb advised her.

we know that you are educated person but you should know about Islam and its teachings(I KNOW YOU HAVE).Fouzia Wahab,in this case,derided the iSlamic lesson which is accountability,whether you are caliph,and caliph(we know Zardari not caliph ,infact he is not leader too,)should be accountable before people of country.but as costitution has un.islamic part tHen its not mean you laugh on islam,you should not give superiority zardari over Hazrat Umer(R.A.)COSTITUTION over Quran.She should apologise before media as she pass these comments before media so that these wrong comments not pass in future

Dear when she passed these un-islamic comments in front of whole nation then why she should'nt analogize in front of whole nation??? We should condemn these comments so that no one dare to pass these kind of statements in future.
