Default Hardwork
No one can deny the fact that hardwork is the key to success but extraordinary success or extreme failure is not dependent upon hardwork only, there are so many other factors also and luck is one of them. CSS 2010 topper Muhammad Bin Ashraf states that he never ever thought of such an extraordinary results, he admits that it is all because of luck.

Default role of luck
It is our general assumption that luck decide where to go us.I have gone through all of these posts because i am also a thinker of the same issue that if it is written you will go in civil service then why someone is working hard.He will surely go and if not written despite all his efforts he will not.But after pondering on the issue and observation of many incident now i think that first you should fulfill the criteria of hard work and then should blame or praise your luck.It is said the everything is pre-written but you can change that by praying to Allah and by hard work.In Holy Allah says that everyone is given the return of effort which he puts,so why we should think about the factor of luck.We should first work hard and then pray and surely results will be as we want.

the score is not tht bad, its alrite.. this can happen to anybody. as far as luck is considred, yeah, i believe in luck but i think that one must be very very very passionate about anything that he really wants to do. first try to "meet yourself"daily, apnay aap sa mulakat karain, try to know what you actually want, cz most of the time we do things just because "cousin ne kya tha and he got gud job,he/she is settled" and struggle as hard as you can.. n MAKE it your luck if its not.

every thing depend upon destiny and fate.Thats also a great favour of Allah on a css Aspirant When he prepare the mind of Aspirant prone to css and give the potency to work hard and try to pass.

Default yes luck matters
i got 830 marks 645 and 185 . i am doctor and i got 52 in eds which is really shocking so luck matter as one paper can ruin the whole effort.

Well, that's right everything depend on luck, but if everything depend on luck then there is no need of any effort or hard work, both luck n extra effort count, hope for the best always offcourse automatically result will be good inshallah just have faith..
