The Punjab assembly has adopted a resoulation against 'yellow journlism' and the journlists are very angery over it and has declared Black Day today against it. It is a unique incident of its kind in Pakistan. What the members of this august forum say about it ?

Journalists should also mend their ways....its true that they are crossing their limitations..journalists should defend themdelves not by observing black day but by showing more maturity in their journalistic work.....a member of punjab assembly told in the session that his degree was not fake but media declared him" a Fake degree holder"...he presented his degree before the speaker of the assembly...this is really an alarming situation...

there should be limits for all institutions including media which has a worthy role to play in situations like being faced by pakistani society.Such actions should have been taken before.Anyhow,this step should be applauded by all mature sections of our society including journalists.

After reading the post by Seep, a famous Punjabi saying came in my mind which is " jaisa munh, waisi chapair "
It is indeed a matter of shame that 2 pillers of state are fighting for their interests. (or national interest ? ) I have just read in a newspaper that degrees of 5 Drs. have also been found fake by HEC and PU has also dismissed a lecturer for holding a fake degree.
I think we as a nation are going downwards in the commity of nations.
lets pray again for a sincere leadership that bring us out of this humilating situation created by the present govt.

Dear folks!

Our country has a polluted legislation, there is no dought. And if you throw a stone in a polluted surface (e.g Keecharr), what 'll you get? Definitly, stains on your own clothes. Exactly has been there, in this conflict.
Both sides are blamed for the creation of issue. Parliament, for having corrup, dishonest and fake legislators and Media, for throwing the stones or just nominating and blaming them. If media comprised of competent anchors and scholars they would solve the issue instead of, just raising it. You can listen different anchors saying that, ''Kia banay ga hmare mulk or system ka, KON theek kre ga isko?
That's why I, often, wish that Media should be the Fourth Pillar of State instead of a Pressure group.
