Indeed a thought provoking news. Supremacy of law should prevail at every cost for every sect and in every state of the world. Thought which is pinching me till todays sentence announcement why would America pursue such an action against a medical doctor, I don't think so that this is a whole drama stages up, there must be some reality and her attack on US military men cannot be denied at all.

im also thinking on the same lines...a woman can lift a gun,its not a big deal...secondly,she said she was not against America and Isreal and during this trial she was not tortured by the US authorities etc...later on,her sis Fouzia Siddiqui claimed during the press conference that Afia was forced to give such statements....according to some media reports,Dr Afia is not mentally fit these days...if its true,then how can a mentally unfit person accept the pressure of the US authorities?jub k is confession k bawajood uski punishment bhi relaxe na ho skti ho.......there is something else behind the curtain and we used to see only one side of the picture.

Dr Aafia was sold to USA then why we all people are in state of shock?

From the 1st day gov. of pkistan did nothing and all of their legal help for our respected sister was 'ceremonial'.


Deliberately the case of Dr Aafia was made weak by the defence lawyers why we did nothing?

last but not the least thing is that we must not be emtional and our protests must be peaceful.Otherwise it would be another blow for our country.

The verdict is sheer injustice. Our intellectuals always praising the the western justice but this.... I have not words to express my grief and displeasure. Pray to Allah Almighty for some way out. 56 Muslim countries but no Ummah, God bless us.

We are calling the verdict "injustice" because we are Pakistani, definitely we shall support Dr. Afia. But the thing is that we are unable to see the whole picture. We know that pakistani are certainly involved in shameful activities inside and outside Pakistan. Who accepts that he/she is involved in such activities? but Dr.Afia is a woman so definately her case has successfully grabed the attention of everybody. What about other Pakistanies who are accused of such activities and living in jails?
As somebody has already mentioned that this is a high profile pilitical/diplomatic case so the chances of injustice are very rare because all countries are keeping their eyes on such cases.US would never want to spoil its image openly in the community of world nations for injustice.

Dr. Afia is a great drama queen, who has been involved in terrorist and subversive activities against her own country (US). Now she has got what she deserved !! If anyone thinks Afia is an innocent house wife, they should check the facts about her:

Agree with Riazudin
We should not be swayed away by the media hype and act like the workers of Jamat a islami and other pressure groups who have to gain advantage out of this vedict.
We should behave like educated persons who search the truth, see all aspacts of the issue and then conclude without any religious/political/ethenic bias.
