Ok now that we are done with our exams by the grace of Almighty and i am sure everyone has done their best..n may Allah do the best for everyone and He always does that..ameen

my question to all of you people out there and specially to the CSP's in the forum is that

if a person fails to become a CSP, and i know that his life does not end here but then is this something one should really feel sorry about? i know that Allah gives the best to His people and if someone fails He has better plans for him..but still a failure in CSS really means that a person has lost 'the best' opportunity of his life???

Failure in CSS does not mean the end of the world. If one door is closed then other are opened. Life is a process of continuous struggle and pursuit of destiny and CSS is a tiny part of a student's fortune. Aspirants from various disciplines such as medical, law and science try their luck and do their best to surpass this competitive exam and in the end some of them put the medal of success on their chest. What about others???? Simple, they join other fields to earn livelihood.

No one knows where the best opportunity exactly lies. We can only observe and perceive our interest and wants. Every field has some negative and positive aspects. Success in CSS is not the cure of all human desires as there is no any panacea for unlimited wants.

CSS is not the BEST chance of your life, there are better things to do than CSS. Of course, CSS is one of desirable things but human desires never ends.

Also, I feel that CSS is something which should be attempted by very honest people, from what I have observed, CSS jobs are not really highly paid .. However, people enjoy the perks that come with CSS ..

Never feel sad on losing anything in ur life, bcz whenever a tree loses its leaf,a new leaf is ready to take its place.

No doubt success in css brings innumerable contentment and pride for achieving something which u have dreamed.Regardless of it failing in css is also having some positives along with negatives.It depends upon ur frame of mind as to how u perceive the failure.I hav seen few aspirants who consider failing in css as end of everything.However such approach is not appropriate one.One should have high aims even after failing,try to find some other avenues,some other aims and goals.All the three attempts must have left something positive upon aspirant's mind.He must have learned so many new things and had strengthened his nerves.Therefore,it is positive side of failure which must be perceived.

Always keep a little thing in your mind,'finality rests to Allah.' Work very hard for css and do your the best during the papers but do not think that becoming a csp is your right. There remains a chance of failure by virtue of luck, that wont mean you were incompetent or you worked less, but that would mean k Allah has kept something else for you in bucket.

Css is not the end of life. I had worked good to hard and tried for it well, but at the end of the day i was out of the game but by HIS grace I remained doing good and doing good now and thinks that I am better now thn what could have been by becoming a csp. There are lot of opportunities other thn css... so have chil..

well the reason i have put up this question is that i have used all my three chances - one because of my parents' wish; second because of an emotional decision ;and third because i got impressed by a CSP's 'toar'.

but i have never been convinced from the core of my heart for this job.. no doubt the two failures i have met b4 in this exam have brought some positive changes in me and by the grace of Almighty i am an optimistic person so failure is not the issue mA.. n the third time also i am not so sure abt my success and sometimes i ask myself that even if i pass will i be satisfied by becoming a CSP??

i am not the sort of person who goes after protocol and perks that come with this job..my inclination is more towards private sector or development sector.. i enjoy writing and reading and doing social work..

but the main reason behind availing all these three chances was fulfilling my mother's wish who wants to c me as a CSP..n i know the reason behind parents desire to c their children as a CSP

i. because of job security
ii authority that comes with this job
iii respect one gets after this job
iv and i feel it is because parents usually satisfy their own desire of belonging to this class in the society through their children.

now that due to my lack of interest in this field i could not do my best..i hope Allah will not punish me for betraying my mother..

i may sound childish but this aspect bothers me as i am the eldest among my siblings and like every other parent my mother has also associated her dreams with my success in it..i am a bit confused

Dont take tension for anything now and just wait for the result while doing any other important thing like study etc. If you are not going to be a CSP then its not a big deal, you can enjoy pricks, privileges and toar etc while going into any other governmental office and if at all you dont join government sector, you can enjoy ample level of pricks while being in private sector so thats not a big deal. As regards wish of your parents, especially of your mother, thn i can simply say that tell your mother k you have done your best for accomplishment of her dreams and have a big smile at your face while telling to her and may hug her. Your success in every field of life and smile at your face will be more important for your mother thn passing any exam..

I'd be disappointed in myself if I cant secure merit in the CSS examination. For me, its simply because the failure means inadequacy in me or atleast on my part.

For me, failure is not just missing an opportunity or a career but it means something deeper, something unacceptable to me.

i can give here example of Barrister Itzaz Ahsan which is a big name in influencing personalities of Pakistan......jb itzaz Ahsan barrister bn kr pakistan aya to log khny lgy k barrister banana konsi bdi bat ha css kro to pta chaly k koi imtehan pass kia ha....so he decided to do that.....he cleared this exam with flying colors and come in one of the top goups but he had not joined this service because he knew that i can do better in other field....Today we know he is enjoying everthing better than CSP officer.....so CSS is not the end of world but it doesn't mean that we should not go for css...Try your best if you selected then well & good if not then "teray agay asman or bhi hain"
