This is because our media has been privatized.I am not against freedom but want to follow Islam.Islam prohibits extremes and order us to be moderate.since democracy and communism are two extremes forms of political ideologies. Musharraf has privatized media. I will cite following caused ;

1.privatization./democracy.
2.lost of primary groups/parents
3.social alienation.

There counter strategies seems to be difficult.when seed of evil has been implanted in the soil of society then one need to homicide.And no one will do this at any cost as this is at all against humanity.but coming generation can be lead to right path by revamping our culture.you people have seen women elopement in various dramas as well as prostitute culture in each drama. infact these dramas and movies induced spirit of vice in man.here SATAN duty is being performed by this media.definitely,new teenage will prefer to elope. pornography is very common in these days ... i have remembered movie 3 idiots in which one guy in competition spread these type of magazines.this is because when children/students will feel alienation ,definitely will search for this and tilt toward these.

How to improve ?
1.build schools in villages so no student will migrate to cities.
2.cost price of books should be cheaper.
3.videos can`t be blocked as mentioned by bindas because one can change proxy and use particular web.when fb was blocked ,we people use fb by changing the proxy .so it is futile to say ,block all these kind of stuff.'INSAN khtata ka putla he". so only and only thing that will solve the problem whem family institution will be strengthened.

The language used in the video is not appropriate but still i have to share the video in this forum.I agree with jazib roomi that Bookay ko khana khanay ka tareeqa nahi sikhaya ja skta but if we look 6,7 years back our youth was way much better than today..While we were young 9pm news was the last thing before Satellite tv ..Our media no doubt made progress but it didn't served well for the cause of preserving our culture rather it worked as a promoter of indian and western culuture and there we go..we became frustrated..Now even i didn't find appropriate cartoons for kids..One of my fellows mentioned a program "Desi kuriya"..it is nothing as compared to other fashion shows on Style360 ..As far as porn websites are concerned they can still block other proxies if they want to..

China has waged "people's war against pornographic websites" and it is now their national issue to create healthy environment online. Their leadership is of the view that they can't spoil their youth and they should utilize their energy for healthy activities and produce something good.

our government has rectified convention --CEDAW .this convention clearly state that prostitution should be legalized because women in china earn by these ways.and how we can or government can wage a war.we are`nt democrat??? youth will not protest against this act?? In the start up of the show in this video they have written "MUSLIMS HAVE TWO FACES". This is provoking statement. If Pakistan is the no.1 country for searching pornographic sites then it's not necessary that all pakistanis are muslim and all what muslims are doing is the teaching of ISLAM. Pakistan is a country of many religions. You people hear the lady saying that I should appericiate Pakistan for this that it ranked no.1 atleast for pornography. This shows their extreme biase towards Pakistan and Muslims.
Where as the restriction of such sites is related then I would quote words of one Panjab's minister (i forgot his name), who said that their should be a total ban over mobile phone for those who really don't necessarily needed to use this device while it is misused on the other hand. We have internet cafe not only in cities but also in villages now a days. Who are earning money while distroying the youth. A lot more such stories are welknown to us where immoral activities have been reported in various cities. There is not any check and balance over such issues. Vulgarity is being spread via moblie phone sms on the name of jokes and enjoyment. A grade four child has moble phone with three four sims. Regardless of the danger of the device parents are happy to compete the reletives and neighbourhood by providing costly Mobile phones to their children. Even chappar hotels in our villages promoting vulgar channels with addition of drug supply to the youth.
West has penetrated our society to the roots in motivating our youth in the name of modernization. All these tools are provided by the west and they earn economy and the same time they are loughing at us. Who's responsible for the check and balance. Government is already sleeping. It was Musharraf who freed the media out of the extent of our values and ISLAMIC RULES. Since then we are facing all the nasty problems.

I'm not saying that west is responsible for this, but look at their behaviour, how they are laughing at us? I think islam is not only prohibiting such immoral things but other religions also prohibiting these, but why they stress on islam?
It's true that some muslims are not practicing islam fully but it doesn't mean that all muslims are to be pointed because of few.
