Dear, If Saarc is useless then do u think that the regional countries shall establish another forum and say good-bye to the SAARC? If the organization is not useful or ineffective then concrete steps can be taken to make it effective and vibrant like EU. But this is the another topic which addresses 'how to make SAARC an EU of the south Asia.'

apart from saarc there should be dialogue b/w pakistan afghanistan. india, iran, turkey and saudia arab, comparatively this would be better than saarc because these states have much vibrant role in this region. since 1985 it is almost ineffective till now. becauce eu iran and america are as an observer member of saarc. pakistan and india are the main members in my opinion left so results one can take out of this forum
