If it was possible to keep the poison of MQM away from the people of karachi, No one else knows better than the Ex- President Pervez Musharraf, but he wanted peace all over the karachi city so he it was important to keep MQM along with the government. Same problem is for the PPPP, they know the best solution to keep peace in the city is to please MQM.

ab target killing bhi band hojaye gi, peace bhi kayeem hojaye ga. Mayor ne akar konsa jado karna he? wohi police hogi, wohi rangers. bas terrorist khush hojayenge.

Pleasing MQM is not the panacea for this unrest..If PPP had some sincerity to karachi'tes then it would've called army long ago..They just want to complete their term..Otherwise it is not a hard job to find another NASEERULLAH BABAR..maybe zulfikar mirza can play his role if PPP wanted to..in the time of NASEERULLAH BABAR mqm was not exterminated but their power was curbed to a large extent..jahan laad na chalay wahan Danday se kam chala lena chahiye..

Default MQM's state within state of Pakistan.

As i claimed earlier that MQM has created a state within state, here is another proof of it. Must read.

Zardari Surrenders

After reading this article, what is your conclusion?

I am sure General Ashfaq Kiyani and ISI had talked to government about this issue before their formal announcement. And I am sure their opinion was to avoid Karachi siege.
A couple of reasons, for one, Karachi is our economic centre. Our country is already going through a economic crisis. A siege would ensue strained foreign relations, foreign hostility ("Pakistan is a failed state" - Some country, probably Britain), import and export being affected.

Don't forget that we are already deep in a war that wasn't ours to begin with. Our armed forces are busy there. Apart from that our ISI and CIA have their daggers drawn (What's with the 25 member team 6 helicopter crashing?)
There are also other issues, like our mired recent-past of army rule, the possibility of our people uprising if there were a Karachi mayhem.

If Army had come, it would have killed indiscriminately. Poor, rich, evil or otherwise. I think there is a moral obligation to avoid this line of action.

Considering the above problems, a call to Zardari would've been easier. Giving him a choice between LG revival, and military rule. Our president loves his office wayyy more than his ego. Army played the right cards.

@chemguy.
There is no chance of peoples's uprising from any quarter of Pakistan because crusade against the terrorists of mqm is the voice of every citizen of pakistan. Even urdu-speaking people of karachi are tired of atrocities of these terrorits and they want an end this terrorism.Instead of uprising, people will welcome the operation wholeheartedly.

Our intelligence is very sharp.Even opposing parties of karachi have intelligence regarding strength of one another, how our ISI and other intelligence agencies cannot be aware of it?Army will not launch operation indiscriminately, rather, the operation will selective against terrorists.

Angry MQM on the Payroll of RAW...

As per report, once again Abdul Rehman Malik, our "well known" interior minister's ministry stopped arrest of these terrorists...

Now we can truly see, how Abdul Rehman Malik, blame Taliban after every attack...

He and people of his type, create hatred between Islam Loving people and Army, on the whims of the enemy....

Instead of Taliban, it seems that actually he is destroying the country by helping the known terrorists...!!!
