Yes, Reuters, quoting Abdel Majid Mlegta, a military official of National Transitional Council (NTC), has reported that Col Muammar Gaddafi, former Libyan President, has died of wounds near his hometown of Sirte .

Now it is the golden time for Americans and Western Powers to take control of the Lybian Oil fields. although Gadafi was a monarch and deprive the Libyan people from their rights. God Bless to Libya and Its people

I will call him a SHAHEED/Martyr instead of HALAK/Dead and he presented us the practical demonstration of Tipu Sultan's words Sher ik aik din ki zindagi geedar ki so sala zindagi se behtar hai.

PS I know he was a dictator and cruel bla bla etc in the past but right now he was fighting against NATO backed rebels. Had the rebels been not backed by US and French led NATO forces I would have been supporting the rebels.

This whole drama for so called democracy was actually for the Lybian oil fields from which the American Companies were ousted by Gadaffi.
If USA and Western powers are so kind hearted that they moved their military might in support of Lybian rebels why they remain mum when Palestians were/are being brutally massacred by the Israeli Army?

Its the war for oil...NOT for peace or democracy...
Americans killed more people in Iraq and Libya by bombing than their media portrayed brutal and dictator leaders..

Its a sad day for the Arab and muslim world. The west has once again devastated a muslim country for the sake of oil. Qaddafi was a hero of the Arab world. The whole drama was orchestrated by Saudi Arabia in collusion with the west. Saudi Arabia always wanted to get rid of Qaddafi as he was an outspoken critic of the American presence in Saudi Arabia. Its time for the muslim world to rethink their strategy towards the west and its policies.
