woman,islam and pakistan
islam awards socio political and economic rights and liberty to women but in the specified orbit of islam.suppression and cruelty against women were setaside by islam. Founding father of pakistan was the proponent of women rights. question of the hour is why women are being victimized in pakistani society. And what measures can minimise violence against women. Being a pakistani and muslim how can lot of women be improved in pak .how
suppression, violence and cruel clutches against women in pakistan be handcuffed. Our political lot and fuedalistic mindset are not sincere in this process |

Gender discrimination should be discouraged at domestic level.Mothers' role is most important as they have influencing power over children.Usually mothers provide better food to their sons & daughters are mistreated. This attitude is imitated by the sons & they consider women inferior. Quote:

Islam has awarded many rights to women but due to the wrong concept of Islamic values people don't understand the importance of these rights.. moreover our socio-political culture influenced by Hinduism has blinded the eyes of men in our society.
The discrimination between boys and girls at the very initial level, when at their birth the boy is celebrated and a girl is not, shows the respective attitudes of the society. although in many educated families girls are also provided with the same love, affection and status but at the work-places women are harassed, discriminated not with respect to work but with respect to salary, women are paid much less than their male counterparts. The only way women can be provided with their due rights and status is the complete transformation of the attitudes of the people. |

we have to see the things from primary level. these feudal and politicians were child initially then they became elders and politicians or feudals and i won't disclude common people from this, coz in acid throwing and rape plus harrasment cases all and sundry are involved. the environment provided at their homes results in their behaviour building. If we want to change the socio-political system we should change the environments of our homes, Charity begins at home.. it has become our custom to speak for the women reported in news but not for the women who are working or living around us... I have seen many men they stop their women to go outside coz they know what they have done to other women can be repeated to theirs. yes there should be effective legislation and implementation as well but implementation also requires the willingness of the society as a whole. |

You are almost right, as a matter of fact our politicians are the person who can provide legitimate rights to the women and control the awful situation. But, unfortunately, Our politicians make laws and passes the bills for providing women social and econimical securaty legitimate rights, though it is the laws/bills which are passed but could not be implemented owing to inefficient policies as well the influence of the hindu culture from pre-historic period has been influening in interior/villages areas. As in the current circumtances, a number of women victim cases are seen like acid throwing, karokari, gender discrimnation, rape case etc, I think politicians should provide legitimate rights to the women as well any body who is found guilty should be punished according to the islamic law. I am sure then there would be no karokari, gender discrimnation, and rape cases...
