Leaving an organization just because of black sheep's presence is not the way in which determined and courageous people lead their lives. Black sheep are present in every organization and fearing them is not the habbit of great leaders.

Thumbs up

Mr. Adnan should not resign but continue his efforts to counter such conspiracies. He was on a high post from where he could take some revolutionary steps ... His resignation witnesses his cowardliness

He should not resign, instead of it he should set an example for his colleges to be chastise in such a environment, he can struggle if he had been there at least can make hurdles for them, what he done, nothing else but facilitate there work. it was not necessary, he should stop 100% corruption if he could prevent 1%, he could supplement this nation (something is batter than nothing) but Alas! he spoiled his turn so foolishly.

All those who advocate a 'No Resign' theory are ignorant of the rules of service .. An employee or even a minister, CANNOT, under the rules and regulations criticise publicly his office or leaders while he is working .. The system normally followed in the civilised world is that, resign from the post first and then you can bash your peers and make public whatever grievances you have .. This is what Adnan Randhawa did ..

Another thing .. If Adnan Randhawa had continued his service and had not written the much celebrated article, would we all have known what was going around in that service .. ? I mean we might have a grim idea or speculations but the situation was cleared by him ..

And .. If he had not resigned and had written the article while he was still working .. He would have been thrown out of the service then for breaching the official code of conduct .. You get the picture now .. ?

Regards ..

There are so many other ways to expose the conditions of corruption to public. He can transfer his views/proofs to others who can publish them freely. He can make a group of loyal and sincere people to prevent the exercises of corrupt people. Even if he can not do any thing he was appointed on merit not in irregular way so no body can harm him and he can wait for the better time. But now nothing can happen so it is just like crying on split milk.

Cool emotional decision

mr adnan has proved that he's an emotional person, leaving a system because its corrupt is NOT the solution of problem. One must have strong nerves to face these circumstances, only then he can fight for the change of the system.

I respect mr adnan and his decision but i still beleive that he shouldn't have left the space for some corrupt officer by putting up his resignation.

Best of luck to him

Well, this is not the first case my friends. One of my teachers, also left his post after seeing massive corruption in his department and he told me that it was a good decision to resign, because of his frequent transfers to the other part of country. Today, He is dean of department of social sciences and trying his best to equip students with moral knowledge, not only towards people, institutions but also towards the ecology! No doubt, he sacrificed the post for some good reasons.
