What about the assumption that terrorists might have suspected that intelligence data was being collected in the guise of polio eradication campaign from their areas ?

After the fake polio campaign of Dr. Shakeel Afridi, the militant outfits may consider the polio workers as agents of CIA in order to collect data and share the same with Law Enforcement Agencies or United States so that, to launch an assault or drone attack.

Secondly, the death of polio workers is question mark on the performance of LEAs and our intelligence system. According to a WHO official, there are only three countries are yet to be cleared from polio virus which includes Afghanistan & Pakistan and the third one is probably an African country. The most negative impact of polio will be a travel ban as already discussed by a fellow member. Thus for future, we have to submit a certificate when applying for visa that the applicant is not polio infected or carrier of such virus. :P

Ten innocent human beings have been murdered mercilessly by the mysterious masked men who are unlikely to be identified due to inefficiency of our agencies.

There can be one motive & one reason of this barbaric act.

Motive:The chivalrous perpetrators of this heinous crime are against this noble cause of Polio Eradication Campaign since 2005 for they are of view this (Campaign) has been nefariously designed by the West to make their children impotent.

Reason: Dr Shakeel's abatement in OBL operation through fake campaign have made Talibans vulnerable for future operation.

COAS & other key Stakeholders have to play pivotal part to break their backbone by hitting their hideouts in tribal areas.

Enough is Enough!

there is a significant fraction inside the army that holds sympathies towards these religious activists. So, it is not easy because of that group to take an action with required intensity. Otherwise, it is not a big deal for our forces to get rid of these militants. Army is well aware of the hideouts of all these attackers.

Are they religious in any sense?

That 'Significant' number is not more than 5/pc of our Armed Forces. They must be pinpointed & perished by rest of 95/pc, if this point about 'Fraction' is to be believed.

They have to employ all their energies to clean out this scourge.

I can not provide the exact % of them, but believe me they are influential over the high officials too. This influential is kinda psychological convincing.

Yes, they must do this as "this" is their duty for which they are paid.

I don't buy this point. Our institutions are playing double game to the larger extent with West at the cost of our innocent souls. There should be crystal clear policy on War on Terror. We are left with no option except a bitter pill (Operation) to swallow once and for all.

Such piece of disinformation is heeded & believed in one and only Pakistan.

May Allah enlighten this nation.
