I think this is generally a very good news but i don't think that the present situation of Karachi will improve rather it will go worse because the MQM representatives will cause great damage to transport, buildings, people etc if given a free hand.

What do you think this will put negative or positve impact on following matters?
1. Security of Karachi
2. Politics of Pakistan
3. is this a good news or bad news

kindly share your views
Justice should prevail; no personalized or biased action should be appreciated against him. If he is innocent, we should pray for his success and if he is guilty then we are helpless.

Timing of his arrest is set wisely. This was the best time for such decision, since MQM herself is in Sindh Government so a mature and balanced reaction is expected from his party. Being the partner in government they will try to control the situation. MQM will try to soften its image by restricting its reaction in tolerable limits so that its side effects may not cause more trouble for already troubled leader. Un-calculated, emotional, and terror driven reaction will not pay to him instead it will make his life more miserable and provide reason to the authorities to take him to the task. MQM is mindful of the ground realities that law enforcing agencies have completed their homework to tackle any untoward situation in Karachi by dint of this ongoing operation and expected reaction (forecasted long ago). Moreover, recent rifts within the party due to various factors have weakened its position.
All these factors do not suggest any immature reaction from his party.

Reaction would have been beyond your imagination, had they been out of government.

Mature and balanced reaction could also be because this arrest was result of some MQM insider job . There is lot of talk suggesting that this party is going through a phase of decentralization, and this phase is maturing by the passage of time.

Yes brother, it is one of the factors for this mild reaction. My previous post covered that factor at "Moreover, recent rifts within the party due to various factors have weakened its position".

We are ready to endure this uneasiness for once & all. His party is on the verge of collapse. A violent chapter in the history of this country is going to be closed.

Exclamation Altaf Dilemma

One thing is very clear, the man was enjoying a lavish life since he left Pakistan. His nexus helped spy-agencies in Uk to get information during the 9/11 transition times. He has taken for-granted, the planning of killing his own Party member in London. London is the capital of the champion of Human Rights. How could some one with ulterior motives for others be allowed to act in such vicious manner and the result is in the forefront. There is lesson for Pakistani leaders and especially for the flag bearer of RECONCILIATION.:
