Asslam-u-Alaikum!

The Merit Lists prepared by NTS shows an irrational and unprofessional approach.

The formula adopted by NTS has two major flaws:

1. The grading system varies from university to university. For example, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad gives 3 grade points at 65% marks and National Textile University, Faisalabad gives 2 grade points at 65% marks.

2. Four (4) grade points are awarded at 80, 85 or 90% marks. So if a person has a CGPA of 4.00/4.00, it means he has 80, 85 or 90% marks, not 100% marks. But NTS has used childish approach and simply divided the obtained CGPA by 4.00. In this way, CGPA 4.00/4.00 will be treated as 100% marks, which is totally wrong. Similarly, 2 grade points are normally awarded at 60 or 65% marks, but according to NTS formula, CGPA 2.00/4.00 will be treated as 50% marks, which is again totally wrong.

What the hell our Testing Service is doing? Is it meant for replacing Educational Testing Service (ETS)? Is it “Building Standards in Educational and Professional Testing”? Does NTS meet the conditions of Quality Management Systems like BS EN ISO 9001: 2008?

I think only viable solution is to file a writ petition in high court as it is injustice with the candidates who completed their decrees through anual examination system.it is wilful negligence on the part of nts and it should not go unnoticed

Thank God! anyone realised the same thing as I have been reiterating from the very first day...! I am Assistant Manager HR and I took great care of marrking systems in evaluating anyone. If you people won't raise your voice then ye sb chalta rahega aur Annual system walay loss main hi rahengay.
