The list was not published anywhere after the interviews. They just hired whomever they selected. Rest of the candidates were not informed for anything.

Has anyone from the legal department received an interview call? I'm at 21 on the merit list, what are the chances of me getting an interview call? Also, does anyone know how does the quota for women work.

This is contract period job for 3 years ( extendible) no provident,no gratuity,no pension.
and at the expiry of contract you are completely dependent on LDA personnel whether they extend you or not, you can do nothing at the end.
Salary in around 45-47K.
SPS is way way way better than this job.
there are no job responsibilities of this job as this is general cadre. you are sent to free encroachments, you can be sent in hr even in WASA etc . so all you feel like a rolling stone with no table post. but yet it has a charm of attractive salary.

rolling stone means what is this a field work job or office job????

LDA- General Cadre Interviews
Today I, among my other 24 fellows, appear for interview.1st 25 candidate in the merit list appeared today, while remaining will be interviewed in the next two days. Some say they have called first 60 in the merit list for interview and others say 75. Anyway interview detail was as under..
Interview timing: 11am
Place: Lda building ,Johar town Lahore
Interview starts: i think round about 12.30
Interview duration: 3-8 minutes
Interview Panel: 5 member
Medium of Interview: English and Urdu mixed(so don't worry if you are not good at English, but it is good to respond the answer in the same language)
Content of Interview: 1) Introduce yourself briefly
2)Thoroughly go through your CV, most of the question will be asked what you have mentioned in your CV
3)your family background and other related questions
4) If you have professional degree, why you want to do this job?..you should have reasonable justification
and that's it.. so be calm, have a good sleep and a proper breakfast.....
my interview was normal, i also request other member to share their experience..

Top 60 are called only as i am on 68th position and i am not contacted for interview.
4 seats reserve goes to females
1 for minority
and so remaining 20 goes to open merit. and 3 against 1 are called for interviews so it makes 60.

Ali Maqsood or any other member please Briefly explain what kind of job is this???? is this suitable for females too???? plz do help me...Plz tell me what kind of job is it means why this job is not for professional degree holder....

@faisal inyat,imran saifi and ali maqsood Brothers plz tell what did you mention in your CVs against the query "what are you doing now a days" is it right to mention about css r not and plz share your experience after your interviews

Don't worry, a professional degree holder can also join this... they just ask that why you opt for LDA General cadre where even a non professional degree holder can join too.... so dont worry... just be confident...and Pray to ALLAH SWT for your success.


Well, I would advise in the light of a member's input who also mentioned in interview that he is preparing for CSS and as per him, panel asked why we hire you when you may leave after CSS...and ultimately didn't select him...

So in my opinion, don't mention css.
