Last time I appeared for AATCO position, the minimum education requirement was F.Sc. and the test was a bit more focused on analytic skills. There were many people in the 60s, and according to one of the CAA person who was active in our AATCO thread on css forum, informed us that CAA calls up at least 3X candidates for interviews where X is the number of vacancies. So this time around, for Punjab there are 6 seats so they will call at least 18 people for interview. But there will be a certain number of internal candidates as well who will appear for the interview. I am not sure of the exact count but as per CAA policy, they should have to fill (not sure of the exact percentage) 25% of the seats through internal hiring.

Seeing the current scores, I think people scoring 55 or more have a good chance of getting called for interview.
Well my dear friend whch was that golden year when educational req for AATCO was Fsc?
As for as I knw educational baground does matters coz in last batch most ov the selected guys were engineers hvng distinctns in their educational career.

As far as the academic r̶e̶q̶u̶i̶r̶e̶m̶e̶n̶t̶s̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ background and its impact on hiring is concerned, I told what I had experienced and felt. If you have some other info for the guys who want to know more, then please feel free to share it.

I applied in 2010. I recall that back in 2009 F.Sc./B.A. was allowed to apply for AATCO but I might be wrong about the F.Sc. requirement. My point was that minimum B.Sc. education has not always been a requirement.

And I didn't intend to misguide. Sorry that my post hit a nerve.

So what can you tell about the interviews they have nowadays?

Given my previous interview, I'll have to be much more prepared about geography of Pakistan... I screwed up a couple of questions last time.
